Privacy policy
MakerHelm gives independent software makers a private overview of the services their products use and what those services cost. This policy explains what the hosted website processes.
Information we process
We process the name, email address, and profile image associated with your sign-in; the products and services you add; account or project selections; cost and revenue snapshots; and collector status information. Hosting and authentication providers may also process routine security and request logs such as IP address, browser details, and timestamps.
Service credentials stay on your Mac
Tokens for services such as Vercel, Neon, and Stripe are stored in your macOS Keychain. They are used locally to request data from those services and are never sent to or stored by the MakerHelm website. The collector sends the resulting cost data to your account. Device tokens are shown once and stored on the server only as a cryptographic hash.
How information is used
We use this information to authenticate you, display your product-cost overview, connect your local collector, protect the service from abuse, and diagnose reliability problems. We do not sell personal information or use your product data for advertising.
Service providers
Clerk provides authentication, including Google sign-in. Vercel hosts the website and Neon stores application data. Google sign-in gives MakerHelm basic profile and email information; MakerHelm does not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, calendar, or other Google content.
Retention and your choices
Information is kept while your account is active and as needed for security, backups, and legal obligations. You can disconnect Google access in your Google Account. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of your MakerHelm account data, contact kraftandi@gmail.com.
Changes
This policy may change as MakerHelm develops. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
